Natural gas is a gaseous blend which consists primarily of methane that occurs naturally beneath the sea bed. It is collected, stored and piped extensively to be used as a fuel for various domestic and commercial purposes. Natural gas is considered a reliable and carbon-free. Both oil and natural gas are often found together within same reservoir. The process of extracting natural gas begins by opening the fractures over the earth surface and then widened by injecting water, chemicals and sand at high-pressures and this process is known as hydraulic fracturing. Natural gas emits less pollution compared to other fossil fuels during its production stage and also burns cleaner than other fossil fuels.
