Antonis Nicolaras practiced for 47 years as maritime and oil business lawyer, Greek citizen and University of Athens - Law.

He practiced through the years as maritime lawyer at the level of the Supreme Court and Arbitrators in New York and London. Further practiced on: Registration / flag of vessels, financing (for owners and banks ) maritime claims ( Cargo Hull and Machinery and P+I) , in all countries mainly for major greek shipping companies and under writers.

He Scheduled and started up three major shipping companies and two shipping / oil companies. One of them passed IPO in New York. Cases handled for dry cargo vessels (general cargo, bulk - carriers, RO - RO, Containers, log carriers, reefer vessels) and tankers (crude carriers, LR, clean product carriers, veg oils, chemical curriers, bitumen, LPG and LNG) and special vessels i.e. FSO, FPSO etc. and recently on modern technology refinery in UAE.

He worked for upstream oil projects, oil storage facilities, bunkering and oil trade in Fujairah. Had run the own law company in Piraeus - Greece and handled cases in Europe, Asia, Africa and America (North - South). He dedicated to MARINER (GR) S.A. as director and shareholder.

He had been shareholder in various shipping companies with dry cargo ships and tankers and one oil trade company in UAE. He Pilot and sailor with two own racing teams / champion of Greece for several years.
